Day 1 - Alex's Journal

Today is my first official day of internship. I am working at Convolve Inc. in Armonk. During this internship we will be creating a bot that plays the video game Guitar Hero III entirely on its own. The bot will have 5 light sensors called photodiodes. These photodiodes will be placed up against the screen while guitar hero is running and as each note passes the photodiode, the photodiode will sense the note and send information to a microprocessor. This microprocessor will then process the information and ultimately send a signal to the guitar telling it to play a note. We hope that the bot will have 100% accuracy on even the most difficult songs.
