Day 14 - Alex's Journal

The PCBs (Printed Circuit Boards) that we ordered finally arrived. These board contain the same circuit that we had made using the bread board; however, everything is wired perfectly and is much more compact because it is made by a machine. There will be 6 boards used for the guitar bot. Five of the boards are 1.25 in. x 1.25 in. and will each have a circuit with a photodiode on it. The sixth board has the microprocessor on it and will be connected to the power source (a 9 volt battery). We began working on putting the boards together today.
